The Fall

Well here we are coming into fall and out of summer. This is my favorite time of year believe it or not! Between college football season, hockey season (for my team), the great holidays, and the change of weather. This year is especially nice because it will actually be cold for once! After the summer that we've had we definitely need a break from the intense heat. Well I'm looking forward to a good semester and great football season. I am now in Raleigh so I'm going to try and make it down for some football games this season, if my new job permits the time off.

Vacation

This past week I embarked on a journey through the western caribbean on a cruise ship. This was absolutely amazing and had been my third time on a cruise ship. Are stops were Beliz City, Costa Maya, Cozumel, and Grand Cayman. Are last stop had gotten cancelled due to waves crashing over the docks to the island. We had so much fun and enjoyed every bit of the spring break trip. I hope all of you out there had a good vacation and had done something fun with your time off as I did. Happy St. Patrick's Day to all!!!

New Job

Today I have gotten confirmation that I got the job!! Excitement upon me, I realize that I start my new job in less that 2.5 weeks. I will be a manager at Harris Teeter in about 2 months time from when I start, even with a week cruise vacation in the middle of my training. I am hyped up to start my new job, earn more money, and be able to save more money for my future. I hope the rest of you can have some good luck as I did, best of luck to all at your jobs and ones that you may be looking for in the future.

Week of Excitement and Leads

This week I am embarking on a new journey while still in school. I am currently employed with Harris Teeter and have been chosen for a new position that will be well above my pay grade. I am excited to embark on an interview process that will bring me into the third interview for this position. Hopefully all of us are getting into similar situations in the near future so that we may all begin to use our newly owned degrees. BEST OF LUCK TO ALL!!

New Semester and a New Year

Many people consider a new year as a new beginning, I find it see it as more than that. I see it as a new year to begin but also a new year to grow from what you had accomplished the past year(s). I have now been in college for a while now and have made some mistakes and some accomplishments that I am proud of. One being graduating this semester finally. Due to some other problems last semester I really didn't have a good one that I wanted to have. Now that that I have a job lined up and have some more time to do some more school work/quality school work it will be going better. I enjoyed blogging last year and learned a lot of stuff from it. I am looking forward to this class and to learning more fun stuff as I did last year from blogging at least.

Week in the trenches

This past week has been long to say the least.... exams, projects, and work all together! Just too much, however it is all to be over in a couple of days and I'll be graduating friday. I can't wait for the time where I don't have to do anymore school work. I hope all of you had a great weekend and survived the past week, good luck on the next one!

Fun at the ball game

This weekend I had some business to attend to in Raleigh, NC and decided to attend the NC State vs. Maryland football game on Saturday. After I attended the game on Saturday with my girlfriend she suprised me with Dane Cook (comedian) tickets at the RBC Center. All and all this weekend was successful both with business and with fun. These weekends are hard to find sometimes when we are busy but we all need to learn to take a weekend for us once in a while. I beleive that it brings us back to earth and let's us relax and take life in.
