Vacation
This past week I embarked on a journey through the western caribbean on a cruise ship. This was absolutely amazing and had been my third time on a cruise ship. Are stops were Beliz City, Costa Maya, Cozumel, and Grand Cayman. Are last stop had gotten cancelled due to waves crashing over the docks to the island. We had so much fun and enjoyed every bit of the spring break trip. I hope all of you out there had a good vacation and had done something fun with your time off as I did. Happy St. Patrick's Day to all!!!

Man I am so jealous! I have only been on one cruise, and that was January of 2004. Needless to say, I am long overdue. My best friend and I took a Carnival cruise to Grand Cayman and Jamaica. Jamaica was by far the most beautiful island of the two. I think it is time that I start planning the next cruise! Glad to hear you had such a great vacation!
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you had a great spring break. I had so much going on that I did not get to break. I am going to take a small vacation over Easter with my family so I will get to enjoy that. I have not been on a cruise in many many years but I remember how much fun it was to go to the different islands and look around. It is so relaxing looking out into the water and not seeing buildings and hearing the noises of the land world. A great way to clear your mind.

ReplyDeleteI spent my spring break from school doing what I like to do when no assignments are due, that is not doing any homework. I even ask my co-workers to ask me the all import question during spring break. “Do you have any homework to turn in this week”? And I reply, “No”. I also ask them to ask me the same question at the end of each semester. I know that homework is very import, but sometimes it is good to have nothing to do but watch TV at night.
ReplyDeleteMy wife and I went on our first cruise back in 2001 for our honeymoon. The cruise was very fun and relaxing. We plan to go on one again, maybe when we finish with our degrees which should be sometime in 2012. Sometimes it is hard to come back to the realities of life after a good vacation. All it takes is a few days at work and a few assignments due at school to get life back to normal.
Oh how I envy you!! I have never been on a cruise ship, but I am hoping after this semester I can take that challenge.
